verdict: hells no!
i've been wanting to try la mill because it is in my hood. a quick walk around the resevoir this past weekend struck up a thirst that needed to be quenched and an opportunity that i didn't want to miss. i stopped by for a quick mocha iced latte to go and a banana walnut muffin for the belly.
-insert rant about la mill-
first off, WHAT THE HECK?! i'm by no means a fatass nor do i support fat america, but there's something fundamentally wrong about paying almost $5 for a regular sized drink that was gone after two hefty sucks. even a cracked out ho on some dirty corner won't charge $5 for two sucks!! freakin' pricey! my cup was filled to the top with ice and the extremely small drink was poured in, giving the impression that it is really a regular sized drink. ahhhh, such smoke and mirrors....
la mill gave me blue balls. that's what REALLY happened that day. the coffee is phenomenal and tasted pretty damn aromatic, but after two quick sucks and the entire drink was gone, i was left yearning for more. i stopped myself from going back for another one. i didn't want to support violent wallet rapes. la mill, you are too cruel. i am too old to get played like that.
