verdict: tasty, try it
if you drive to and fro vegas as much as i do, you should actually notice a few of these "alien fresh jerky" signs. after many years of bypassing these signs and wondering what the HECK that meant, i FINALLY got my friends to oblige me with a stop on our way home. oh whooppiee i say. LOVED IT!
first of all, any establishment with the words "alien" and "jerky" is automatically cool. throw in a kitchy yellow taxi with an alien family sitting in it and you'll probably have a pretty good laugh. a well deserved release i'm sure after losing your pants at the vegas craps table.
the store is very clean and all their products are well displayed. for $8 a pop or 3 bags for $20, you can get a variety of jerky...beef, pork, tuna. they also have samples of most of their beef jerky for you to try. might i recommend the carne asada, honey teriyaki, and peppered jerky? pretty tasty for some dried up meat! there's also seasoned nuts for you nut lovers out there to go nutty over.
i walked away with 4 bags of jerky and a few cheesy photos. good times my friends, good times....
my favorite is the honey teriyaki. nice sweetness to it.
