nothing wong here at wong's wok. they serve standard chinese fast food (orange chicken, fried yellow noodles, fried rice, brocolli and beef, etc...) under heat lamps. i will say though that they are on the "better quality" side of the heat lamp eating experience since most of their food doesn't look too wilted nor are they sopping in oils or various sauciness because they've sat around too long.
i found myself at wong's recently because i was going to a potluck. my visit yielded me one medium sized box of fried yellow noodles and a medium sized box of orange chicken. the lady that served me PACKED THE SUCKERS IN! seriously!! it was obvious that the food had overfloweth the boxes, but she squeezed and smashed in as much food as she could. i welled up a little inside because i thought..."you are so nice. you must know my friends eat a lot." anyways, both orders costed me $9.47. a pretty damn good price for all the eats is what i'm thinking. the food tasted reasonably good too and was a good addition to the potluck.
you won't find wong's to be gourmet, but if you are looking for cheap and relatively tasty chinese fast food, i don't think you will go wong at wong's wok. try it.
