my friend and i had lunch here after foraying into santa ana. man, it's far from l.a.!
i ordered the bbq chicken sandwich with a side of shoe string fries. the bbq chicken seriously tasted like boiled chicken that got a good bitch slapping of their bbq sauce. did that help?! NO! the lack of a good grilling is the problem. what's up with that?! the fries were really tasty though but wasn't enough to save the entree from total mehness. and the service. bleh. my friend and i were practically the only customers they had at the time and it still took about 15 minutes to take our order and give us our drinks. memphis at the santora did not live up to the rave yelp reviews nor is it close enough to warrant a second chance.
